Printing on location
Any printer that appears in the iOS print dialog works. These are the setups photographers use most.
Canon SELPHY CP1500
- Load 4×6 (KP‑108IN) paper and ink. On the printer: Wi‑Fi settings → connect it to the same network as the iPad (or the same hotspot).
- In the app, print any photo once: the iOS dialog lists the SELPHY. Choose it and print a test.
- Admin → Sharing & Output → set default copies and turn on auto-print if you want the dialog to open by itself after each result.
2×6 strips — the app places two strips side by side on one 4×6 sheet with a dashed cut line. One print, two guests.
DNP (DS620, DS‑RX1, QW410…)
- DNP printers are USB printers. Connect one to a DNP WPS‑1 or WPS Pro print server.
- Put the WPS on the same network as the iPad; it appears as an AirPrint printer.
- Use 4×6 media for 4×6 layouts and strips (two strips per sheet).
Any AirPrint printer
Photo inkjets and office printers work as a backup or for proofs. Choose 4×6 photo paper in the print dialog for the best fit.
Layouts
- Admin → Strip Builder & Print Layouts: choose which layouts guests can pick, or lock one for the event.
- Event branding: event name, second line/date, background and text color, and your logo — added automatically.
- Pro: the strip designer lets you place photo slots, frames, text and stickers anywhere and save it as a template.
